*** Florida State adds another star recruit
(AP) - Florida State put the final touch on its top-rated
recruiting class by adding coveted cornerback Dominic Robinson.
Robinson, a 6-foot-1, 192-pounder from Diamond Bar, Calif.,
officially signed his letter of intent with the Seminoles on
Thursday, a day after most players made their decisions. The
Seminoles beat out Tennessee and Washington for Robinson, rated
the second-best prospect in the nation by one recruiting service.
Robinson intercepted 10 passes and had 93 tackles last season,
and also caught 24 passes for 722 yards and nine TDs. Florida
State was the easy winner in recruiting wars on Wednesday, with
three experts -- Allen Wallace of SuperPrep magazine, Tom Lemming
of Prep Football Report and Bobby Burton of Rivals100.com --
ranking the Seminoles' class the best by far. Max Emfinger of
National Blue Chips had LSU first and Florida State second.
